New HPF N54 Intake Manifold Pics for the 135i/335i/535i
We got our final rapid prototype in for our NEW N54 Intake Manifold and confirmed every last detail today. I'm happy to report that we will now move forward on the production of these intake manifolds in aluminum. They will allow all of us to take our 135/335/535s way beyond what the direct injection will allow. You will be able to purchase these with or without the fuel injectors and rail. We will stock the injectors and rails if you need them, and will also work with the N54 tuning companies out there to dial in the secondary fuel system.
If you have any questions about these, feel free to PM me or email sales@horsepowerfreaks.com. Here are some pics.... |

Not sure if you want to use this thread for this purpose, but is this basically one of the lingering issues to easily get us beyond 500hp?

Has HPF done flow testing with this beyond CFD modeling? I'm curious to see if the OEM Intake manifold has any poor attributes where this could benefit. Just a nice improvement in throttle response would be a good enough reason to buy this.

How are you going to get the fuel to the rail? Y fitting from after the low pressure pump and add a boost a pump? Will this cost my left testicle?

Whats pricing going to be on this also a cast version would probably be great. Those ID injectors definitely enhance the appearance of the engine bay

Of course. That particular rapid prototype didn't have them on but it will be there. For those that don't want the HPF logo there will be an option for that as well.
We will ultimately be running 40psi so aluminum is required. There will be a polished or wrinkle black option. I will announce pricing tomorrow. This is a direct bolt up intake manifold so no modifications will be required. Chris |

Chris,
So how will that manifold with the fuel rail be hooked up to the existing fueling system? The manifold looks like a direct replacement of the existing one. I'm just curious about the connection between the new fuel rail/injectors and the OEM one.... TIA
