What CP/BOV or CP/DVs?
Whats the better setup for 2010 335i? What parts do I need to worry about for proper installation fit? I was looking at Stett/Forge DV setup. Are there concerns I should have about matching with other aftermarket parts if I go with BOV instead? Whats everyone's input? I would appreciate it.

Loving my ER/TiAL combo, however, Stett/Forge is a great setup too. It's personal choice if you want to go BOV/CP. Might want to also factor in if you want to go meth in the future, I'd have 2 bungs just incase.
- Have fun in K-town

Any advantages of having one over the other? (besides the wooosh sound of the BOV of course).

I like the Evolution racewerks the most over the competitors. The ER connects to the TB just like stock which makes it nearly impossible to blow off. Most of the other competing charge pipes use silicon couplers and regardless of what they say can potentially blow off (not common but can).
That is the only real difference between them all. |

I know DV's basically recycle the excess pressure and the BOV releases but which give an increase of power if any? Sounds of the BOV are attractive but power and reliability means more to me....

+1 on the ETS/TiAL combo. Ive never had an issue, fitment is great, and the brushed stainless finish looks killer with a silver Q.

The ER CP with either the Tial or the Synapse BOV is our top seller. For us the ER outsells the ETS and other CPs about 10:1.
As for whether you want a BOV or DVs, the question is pretty much all about the sound. There are no performance benefits going with a BOV over a DV, so its a sound preference. DVs = no sound BOV = the whooooooosh sound (tells people you have a turbo) Mike |

Another good point. Also they offer an array of meth bung options and they are in the correct mounting location. ETS doesnt offer meth bung options and Stett has them in the wrong location (unless they fixed them recently?).
