Are VPC special to the US only?

Just wondering if BMW vehicle prep centers (VPCs) are for US clients only cuz I have not heard of them in Canada. My car came off the boat and straight on to a train. What happens exactly at a VPC and if we dont have one in other countries, does the dealership takes the onus for whatever happens at a VPC?

All the prep work is done at the dealership. Because the amount of cars that the US have to process is MUCH larger in quantity so they have VPC to more efficiently deal with prep work required.

Not knowing for sure, I think it's owned by BMW North America.

(On a side note, I wonder why it's called BMW North America in the USA. It seems like USA is the only country in North America.)

80% of Canadians lives within 20 miles of the US Border...so you really aren't far off on that one, my friend to the North...
