Black 1M, 2800 Miles, Feeler
Black 1M, picked up in South Carolina at the Performance Center in early November, 1200 mile break-in service done a few miles early, car is great, considering another toy and I can get back what I have in this one. No track time, no mods, no driver education, adult driven (and only by me), no snow or salty roads, handled like the rare fun-mobile it is. Optioned with navigation, heated seats. Have not yet posted it anywhere else but considering doing it soon. Plan to list it at $58k or maybe slightly above. PM me if interested. I'm in Dallas. |

Now listed
My car is now listed in the cars for sale area of 1addicts and on cars.com and ebay motors. Happy hunting if you're in the market; its a great car.

Thanks!
Thanks Lay-Z. There's a Valencia Orange on ebay right now that is from Massachusetts and has 3995 miles and has been bid just over $60k - I'm hoping one of those bidders who doesn't win finds Black Sapphire Metallic even more appealing

Ive heard 1M owners say theyd pay up to 100 grand for their car.
You should start there and see if theyre telling the truth Last edited by BrokenVert; 02-02-2012 at 10:07 AM.. Reason: spelling annoyed me |

Good luck
I hope you get it - and that other bidders see what yours gets and pay just as much for mine! I prefer black but VO is a strong color. Happy selling.

Yep
That was my thought too, really not necessary. Not sure if that was a swipe at me or at the buyers. Either way, any of us who are in a position to buy and sell these cars are fortunate financially. I tend to think those of us who work for our money greatly outnumber those who just had it handed to them.
Either way, we can all agree the 1M is sweet |

Thank you. It's a breath of fresh air hearing other owner's opinions which don't include malicious intent or ignorant, rash opinions. This is a BMW forum, not "the view" for the fortunate...

i was referring to texone's comment about my car for sale. but if you got an 1m from your dad more power to you. I grew up poor and couldn't afford a thing. I've had to put myself through grad school, medical school, and now fellowship to leverage my talents to afford a car (or 9 of them ) of such beauty. Don't sweat comments, just always remain humble.

1M
Good luck with the sale. I tend to think that most folks have a fairly strong preference between black and orange, so I don't think we'll get exactly the same buyer.
That said, mine has fewer miles and my starting price is $55k |

Bump
Auction on my Black 1M ends today on ebay and the bids have started to hit, with lots of folks 'watching' it. Get 'em before they're gone and good luck!

Ebay Auction ended on Black 1M - make an offer before I relist
I had a lot of watchers and a few good bidders just over $55k but didn't hit the reserve. I plan to relist it in a few days unless I find a buyer first. Bring your offers. Black 1Ms with zero issues are practically un-findable, as you know, so PM me if you're interested.

I'm surprised the car has not sold already. Maybe hang on until early summer or lower your reserve.
