Looks tidy! well worth the effort. Snow foam doesn't look v.snow foamy? I use autobrite lance and magifoam, pretty good stuff and sits on the car well before running off.

Thanks Pete, I dont normally but my other half had an operation last week so couldnt do a lot so I thought I may as well do the car. Took longer than I thought but hopefully I will now just need to top it up. It's all the leather that takes the time, next time plastic dash

Nice job...great before and after comparison. Particular good result on the exhaust and carpet mats.
Black is a right bitch to have a DD in - I'm really struggling to keep faint swirls off mine no matter how careful I seem to be when washing I find that if you have a very smooth/highly polished surface, snow foam doesn't stick well and runs off very quickly....even when it goes on really thick, it just doesn't grab. |

Black is a PITA but I have found the Porsche paint to be faily hard plus using the snow foam, grit gard and washmit when cleaning helps. Spraying Megs Last touch on when wet and then drying with a really good drying towel makes a big difference.
I try and never wipe the paintwork when its dry I only ever use a detailing spray. Also using a wax that doesnt take a lot of effort to put on and take off helps plus use something that fills in little marks, I think it's almost essential on a black car.. I use the karcher attachment so it's never really really thick but it does the job it's supposed to.. |
