Have to replace rear shocks
I have to replace my rear shocks, dealer (herb chambers in allston) is charging me 1300 including labor and tax..does that seem like a fair price? Any recommendations?

I know the XI suspension is different than the regular E92, but that price still seems outrageous for just the rears.

a.) time for coilovers!!
b.) that price is insane - any reputable shop like Turner would quote a couple hours of labor for just rear shocks. Probably a couple hundred bucks at most. |

Hey man I talked to my buddy and he simply can't fit the work in right now. Too many projects of his own. Sorry if I got your hopes up. Definitely don't pay something crazy like $1000 though!

I believe I still have my rear shocks from my e92 xi in the garage that I could sell for cheap. You can then take it to a place like Village European or even Eastside Motoring in Waltham to install.
Let me know if you need them.
