I've been hoping to see anything about this for a while now. There's a thread on another board that I haven't visited in a while that goes further into it.

I believe they are in search of a turbo upgrade to really show gains. Ported heads with the stock turbos just isn't a wise approach.

Eitherway there is a good amount of speculation on the heads and if they are restrictive so hopefully this can be put to the test. Of course the benefits will be on upgraded turbo's. Last edited by Jeff@TopGearSolutions; 02-09-2012 at 02:42 PM.. |

"When professionally installed and tuned this head itself can produce up to 40hp!" Then later the same ad says: "... this head can produce up to a 100hp increase." So in other words the ad should say: "We have no fucking clue what this head is capable of, and we are too damn lazy or poor to afford buying our own car and testing it." |

yup the stock n54 head really has room for improvement when your moving into larger HP numbers. On the s52 (which is already a very very good flowing head) there have been 140whp gains on a testers car with a BavSol fully worked head in conjunction with more aggressive cams, all else equal. This was on a 800-900whp car.
releasing a part with no flow bench or dyno numbers is just plain dumb.

I'm not sure why everyone is splitting hairs but not reading all the details. We should all be thankful for new options especially from manufacturers that put out time energy and their own money for the platform. Last edited by Jeff@TopGearSolutions; 02-10-2012 at 04:25 PM.. |

I believe enrita has ported head, probably not from PAW but since he has upgraded turbos and a tune so maybe he can chime in on what the gains (if any) he saw.

Man they need to release more information. WE need more proof that this will give us more gain.
