Some early customer results for the BMS OCC!!!
Just wanted to post up these pictures from a customer car showing nice collection of oil after only 1 and 2-months of use.

Uggh, we've been through this before fellas!
Is the output pipe from the OCC clean of oil? If not, then it is not capturing everything. Also, OCCs work ONLY during acceleration. During deceleration, cruising and idle, the flow goes through a different valve.

I would NOT expect 99% oil collection... >50% is acceptable in my opinion and anymore is bonus, but flow is most important. Which I think BMS has done, but it's only speculation based on the design. Anyway, good job!
Wasn't someone going to check CC pressure through the oil cap? |

Vas you can't expect 100% clean return pipe as well as have max flow AND perfect location/placement on this car...so far this can is the best non-DIY setup on the market period, and it looks great! it basically addressed many issues discussed in the pcv discussion on this board...the only remaining thing that hasn't been addressed that i'm looking forward to is routing the vapours of the "other" check valve that's open during off boost situations...and that part of it may be as simple as just adding T-ees in the tubing going to/from the can and hooking it up with some sort of adapter to the OCC's in/out.. this is a great OCC and recently added it on my car as well, no issues...have about 500km with it on so far, will check in about 500km to check up on the situation in the can..would also like to run the crankcase pressure test on it once i get some time... |

Dzenno,
Thanks for your input! I still prefer to clean my valves and intercooler every 30K miles and not mess with the PCV system.

And honestly, there's nothing wrong with that...i don't remember the last time i heard some extra oil hurt an engine it gets trapped in the fmic inlet end tank and you can just drain it...that's what i planned on doing until bms came out with theirs which i'll test out and see how it does crankcase pressure wise...if within stock spec i have no issues with it really

Totally unrelated, do you mind sharing how many km you have on your car?

Looks like I need to finally install mine. I don't have both vehicles down here so working on my car gets limited to things that must be done. Like LSD install

Damn! My BMS OCC has been in for ~3000km and its clean as a whistle. I've never had that much blow by though, and I havn't been pushing it as its winter here. I'll report again in the summer

Do we order this from your website or do you have stock? And what is the price?

i really like the design of this occ and how short the tube is. i currently run the AR Design occ that is mounted on the passenger side by the vacuum canisters...and the tubing is pretty long. wonder if i would notice any type of "improvements" by switching...
