JB4 over PPK

New guy here but been lurking for a few months. My e92 has the BMW power performance kit installed. OK to use JB4 over the PPK? Because of the craptastic 91 oct available here I'm considering use of the BMS cps module. A lot of guys here are all about squeezing the max out of these awesome n54's but I'm just looking for a moderate tune on a stock car. It's my wife's dd and I like the ability to run map 0 during the week and then using map 1 or 5 on the weekend to have a little fun. I'm aware of the other tunes available and I think approaching 600whp is incredible but I'm not going there. Read a lot about the timing issues some have with the JB4 but am wondering if the cps will add a margin of safety there. Thanks guys, lots of good info here.
Oh yeah, please don't flame the n00b!

Yeah no problems, just run map 1 or map 5. No need for cps for those boost levels, the ppk runs less ignition than stock anyway.

Thanks Enrita I thought that would be the case with the PPK. I'm hoping to stay conservative with mods on this car but my history with my other toys is against me.

Most with 91 octane don't need the CPS module, it's only unique situations like high elevation, or gas that is actually worse than 91 octane. As was said with the PPK your advance limiter will be lower anyway so even less need.
