Unhappy My 335i needs new TURBOS!!!

Hello everyone,
I just found out that the turbos on my car (335i/e90) needs replacement. I am looking for a good turbo/upgrade that would give me more power but at the same time not cause any damage to the engine. Please help!!!!

Depends on how much you want to spend/how much power you want/how much downtime you can afford.

Want to buy my RB's? I'm about to sell this POS car as I've just about had it. Just curious, since you want more power, are you even tuned? Because adding upgraded turbos will not give you power alone., you'll still only be boosting to 8 psi, but only getting there faster. You can always buy new stock ones from Tischer or UnitedBMW for about $300 each. RB's go for about $3,000 ~ new (not including parts/labor).

Less than 5,000 miles, I need to figure out the future of my car before I go selling them off.

My stockers went out at 55K. Are you smoking out your exhaust or are they making the dreaded siren?

What were the symptoms of your turbos going out? Seems a little early.

+1. Especially since you haven't gone beyond the stock tune. There is plenty of potential in the OEM setup with the proper supporting parts.

I'd figure out which of the two is bad. It is unlikely that both are shot. If you want to spend the time and money now to do both, figure $1400 in parts - turbos, gaskets, new copper nuts, coolant, oil, etc. Or you can just replace the bad one. You can order everything from getbmwparts.com for 20% of BMW list price.
