Yeah, in the parking lot. And it was the most fun I've had in my car. I've got a lot to learn about driving. It is easy to understand what to do, and hard to actually pull it off . I did drop my times about a second on every one so I did get better. Btw, I did this in my e36, not my e90.

SCCA sets up cones, you go through them as fast as you can. They have timing gear set up so you can see how fast you did it.

ahh soo it was an SCCA event. wondering whats stopping people from just setting up their own cones and having some fun

I was asking these same questions and determined I would just do my practice at the SCCA events as I don't have timing gear or permission to do this in any vacant lots.
