sat nav upgrade to 7 digit postcode?

Is it possible to upgrade a 2007 BMW Mac to use a full 7 digit postcode search?

Via a dodgy disc yes! I've got a link of a Manchester based company who does them, only £30 or something, I'll send you the link when I get into the office. Google BMW NAV you might just stumble across it in the mean time

Not sure where I got the Manchester thing from but I do know someone who bought one of these discs for an E46 a couple of years ago and said it worked a treat. Check compatibility first.

There are two issues: 1) you need a map "data" disc, dodgy or otherwise, that has the 7-digit postcode data on it AND 2) you need to upgrade the operating software so it accepts 7-digit postcodes in the first place.

I've been reading as long as the map disc has the postcode data on it you can do 7 digit pcode search through points of interest.

There must be a way.

The poi search thing is somewhat poor, it never really works as it should for me. Mind you, mine was hooky via bittorrent's.....

I can't see that you would be able to enter a postcode in the POI search but then I've never tried either....

POI, then postcodes then type in the 7 digits, then search, then navigate.
