Bumpers on EBay with no mesh?
I'm planning on loading up a msport e90 bumper for sale and was getting the average selling price from eBay. I noticed all bumpers seem to be on sale without the mesh or fog lights. Anyone know why this is would be?

Every one I have looked at has had broken plastic clips, even the supposedly 'perfect' items. They are so cheap from BMW new its not worth shops repairing and painting them, so hundreds end up in eBay auctions. Certainly NEVER buy one unless in person, most breakers are sharks. You shouldnt have any trouble selling yours GLWTS

I live in the US and haven't ever been to the UK and had a very successful transaction w/ a EBAY seller in the UK http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=640167 Yes the mesh is missing and there are some "flaws" but nothing a body shop can not iron out for me when I take it to paint and the mesh/fogs can be bought from Tischer and/or Ebay (M6 projector fogs) |

Just speaking from experience. I travel my country and have tried to buy these parts used, for months. You are the one out of touch. You clearly have no idea what type of persons inhabit our UK breaker yards. Rednecks you would probably call them. You buy one bumper and ship to the States and you are the expert? Yeh okay....

This isn't my 1st part from the UK I have been importing/buying/swapping parts with a friend in the UK for over 10 years and haven't had 1 bad experience. This just happens to be my 1st BMW part and didn't have any "issues" (just getting the seller to change to international shipping on the auction) on your weak assumption |

That is not representative of the rest of the 'breakers' in the UK I assure you. And as I actually live here, and deal with these businesses regularly, I am well placed to offer an accurate vision. Perhaps try and understand the thread? Clap for your effort too.

It took you that long to come back with a reply, albeit a 1/2 assed one at that. I think you misunderstood I usually got through a friend (that I have had for 10 years) and he used to go to yards and/or the dealership for me except for this time when I imported a EU spec M-Sport bumper. |
