Now,What did i do...

went and got my car dynoed by a local shop one day, was impressed by the power i put down with jb4 intercooler and intake and dp 360whp. everything was good next day i was messin around with a friend of mine after he got his new car. evo 8 E85 tuned bolt ons 29psi,putting down 410 to the wheels. we did a couple pulls had our fun( lost everytime exept from a stop :/. drove home no problems. but today i get into my car start it up began to drive and noticed alot of smoke coming from my exhaust. First thing that came to mind was turbo. it only blows smoke when on acceleration. and smokes at a stop after driving. it dosent stink like burning oil but it may be. is there anything else it could be other then a blown turbo.
from research i see a couple diff numbers on turbo swaps from BMW one was over 3,000 and the other 1,800.
Any help would be great

Blew a turbo bearing seal. You won't have loss in power, it's just going to leak oil into your hot turbos and blow out smoke. Eventually they will fail due to lack of lubrication or seize up entierly. I drove around for a while with a bad seal, but eventually bought some RB's. Time for you to either a) purchase a used set of turbos from someone upgraded theirs b) but new OEM from Tischer c) upgrade to some Rob Becks, ASR, Shiv's Single, etc.

+1, he sold his last set. The wait is a couple of weeks. Definitely worth it though

New OEM Turbos from Tischer are bout 650.00 I believe. If changing turbos I would do both. If it was me I would get the RB Turbos especially if you are going to mod the car more.

always wondered that, how much is it to replace turbos? if parts are only 650, it must be a ton of work...

Yep! Don't forget about $400 in hardware (bolts, studs, gaskets, lines) if you want to use new oil lines. My RB install, all said and done, was roughly $5,500. Knowing what I know now, I would have done the turbo install myself, it's not very difficult.....just time consuming.
