Unless I'm mistaken the 06-07 has halo's on the inside lights with Zenon lights. Halo's are not the typical Angel eyes, however they are OEM.

None of the ones on NA's site are for the Z4. As far as I know there are NO Angel Eye options for the Z4, nor is there any info on how to improve the stock halos.

Yes, you can DIY. if you want to break your headlight assembly, put them in, and you won't be able to reseal them.
super expirenced people have tried and failed.

Why does everyone this angel eyes are so great? Personally, I think they are just a little silly, I can take it or leave it, but what's the big deal, really?

It's a fad... something that's not widely available on the mainstream cars today. I'm sure it'll be less sought after in a few years?
Do you remember a few years back with the IS300's highly sought after tail lamps? Seemed like everyone wanted those "Altezza" tail lamps. IMO, I like my halos and I wish they were brighter like in the 3 series. But it wasn't a make-it-or-break-it feature for me. |

It's a show mod, there are plenty of them out there so if you want to bash Angel Eyes you might as well bash all the other mods out there, you guys know what they are so I'm not going to start a war. Many people like them and there is a demand for them; however, as of right now nothing is available for the Z

Halos are what give you the angel eyes. The angel eyes are a matter of programming so that your only your halos are on for DRL (DDE) or at night for angel eyes.

Uh, IMO Halos and Angel Eyes are the same thing, wiring wise. I see it this way; halos are two rings (like stock on the Z4) and angel eyes are four rings, two on each side. Essentially it's all the same and they can all be called DDE, Halos, Angel Eyes, etc. etc.

If only the angel eyes were to light up at night, how the hell do you see where you are going?

They aren't for road illumination that's what fogs/high beams/low beams are for. During the day if they were better they could function as DRL but as we all know they suck

From what I can see they are for the M model facelifted Z4, nothing else...I was looking at a 2007 3.0 xenon coupe and that did not have them.
My 2004 2.2 however, does.

I thought all facelifted e85/86 have this as an available program? My 07 M has halos and I had them programmed when I picked up the car

Weird, mine have a more yellowish tint to them I think. My inner Halos do light up though (as well as my orange bar across the bottom of the light )
