Shiv - About Golf Tee Mod

I did it today and it seem low end right after shifts its not as responsive. The car doesnt shoot out as fast. Other than that it pulls about the same, cant even really notice the sound difference. Is this a mod you would recommand or should I put it back. I've searched the forums and ppl are stating it does nothing but sound, but I do feel a slight difference. I'd like to hear your opinion. Thanks.

And some say the mod eliminates more backpressure and that is good for the turbo...

This is why I asked. If its better for the turbos (while running higher boost) then it would be a good mod even if its slightly less responsive. But if its not even good for the turbo then why even do this mod right? That is basically what I ask trying to ask. Because I read a thread where a guy said if you do this mod it might actually keep the exhaust permanently closed even under WOT which can be very bad for the turbos. Since I cant really confirm this (because I don't have a camera mounted on my rear bumper), its kind of hard for me to confirm this. Can any experts shed some light on this?

i've done it on my car for like 2 months now and i didnt notice any changes except that it sounds really good on cold starts

as a matter of fact, i believe you have to do it if you get an aftermarket exhaust...

I highly doubt any aftermarket exhaust is going to have that little valve in it...
