New Memeber, Just placed Order for Jet Black on black 335i Sport Line

Hello, new member here. Getting ready to place my order this week with the following build:

Jet Black
Black Dakota Leather with Red Stitching
Sport Transmission w/ Shift Paddles
19" Staggered Wheels (style 401)

Right now the dealer is estimating 6-8 weeks from order to delivery. I will post with updates on the timeline. Anyone who has taken delivery of a similar build please let me know how you like it!

Hi and welcome! Looks like a great build.

A black 335i sportline is going to look mean, no question! You get xenon's as standard right?

Very nice. It was interesting. I went in with the intent to order a 328i. but I wanted the xenons, which require the premium package on the 328i, whcih adds considerably to the price.

Then I relized BMW did this on purpose. If you opntion out a 328i to match the 335is features it is close to the same price So I went ahead and took the bait and ordered the 335i.

Those crafty germans...

build time

So my official order went in on 19 April. The dealership is estimating 6-8 weeks. Glad to hear some of you are getting your cars sooner!

So is 1200 miles the official break in time for the 335i?

I did something similar as well. I haven't driven a new 328i, but I drove an E90....the wife said "this is too damn slow"...I of course agreed. so the plan was to get a 335i. I drove it, loved it. then I started reading reviews saying the new 328i w/ the turbo 4 was very near in performance to the 335i...so I priced it and noticed the same thing as you. The price climbs rather quickly. So I decided "I'll never want less engine...might as well go big or go home".
