dyno results cobb ap stage 2 +fmic

So few of you may remember my thread when i first bought my car all give you guys as much info i feel is help full, I normally don't post results on forums but it seems that there is not a lot of info to be found still.I came from having pretty modified STI and posting on those forums was painful, but this forum is awesome!

Car info 08 335i 6 speed dyno pulls done in 4th gear on the same dyno as the stock pull. i dyno the car the first time at 47,000 miles then this pull was done with 52,000 about 4 months apart.

have a baseline 100% stock

New pull i have these mods cobb ap stage 2 aggressive+fmic beta 401, ar down pipes, remus axel back, ams fmic, and intake. Now i know the weather is different but i tried to keep is constant as possible from baseline same wheels were used to dyno the car same dyno and things of that nature. I hope you guys can benefit from this info.

Seems low my friend. I'd also love to take a peak at the log file of this run.

Ok, here's his logs. I made two because there was so much timing correction happening it made it almost unreadable.

The first shows timing on cyl 1 and it looks bad. The second one shows corrections on all cylinder. IMO they look like they're knock induced and i'd recommend switching over to a less aggressive map immediately.

93 oct. that was the 3rd pull each one was done almost back to back think that may be why there was so much correction?

Heat soak could cause it, but I personally heat soak my car on purpose while logging to ensure it will run optimally in all conditions. Add a splash of race gas or E85 and get some more logs, see if it looks better.

Here's one shing your IATs. Start of pull they are 111F and top out at 126F.
The temps are warm, but IDK if they would cause universal timing corrections like that. Definitely possible.

Not to thread jack but for anyone else running S2+ on V401 what are you seeing for timing advance? I did some logs tonight and max I'm seeing is around 7-8 degrees with no corrections. I was expecting more...

used shell 93. I'm going to do few more logs I'm assuming every thing els looks on target it just my timing that is off. witch could be bad gas or the heat from the pull.

could be a bad tank of gas, 126F IAT is not bad at all. You should be able to make more power once you sort out the timing pull. good luck!

Although that seems quite low for a "Stage 2+" tune, it looks to be pretty in-line with the other COBB cars. It would appear that Cobb is just not at the point where they want to start pushing more power yet with OTS maps, which isn't by accident or lack of ability.

Simply put- the numbers in the dyno above would be similar of a bone-stock car with a procede/new maps, and maybe a little less with the JB. Assuming your car is similar to the other FBO N54s, with your mods you would likely be around 400hp/440tq with a piggyback (without meth).

I'd definitely suggest getting your car protuned and get off of these OTS maps
