Opinions of an h-pipe

I tried ing to no avail. In order to save some money, I switched out the stock muffler on my 335i, and replaced it with magnaflow mufflers. The car is louder, but more so down low. As the RPMs climb, it mellows out. I am planning on deleting the secondary cats with a crossover. My previous cars were a z06 and a gto and being muscle cars I wasn't too scared of losing any rumble so I went with an x-pipe. I haven't seen many people go with an h-pipe here, any opinions on the use of an h-pipe vs the x?

Isn't the stock exhaust an H-pipe?

HKS has an H-pipe as well. H-pipe just mellows out the tone and makes it less boomy, right?

From previous experience, the x has usually been more mellow and smooth
