installed vanguard exhaust now this

i just had installed my vanguard exhaust on my 08 335i coupe an now im throwing a cat code an the car is in limp mode. im new to the 335 world so is there a way i can get the light off so i can pass inspection? would appreciate all the help. also im in NEW YORK

you installed a fully catless exhaust without having a tune ? The engine will throw codes since its complaining about the missing cats.... Get COBB tune and run stage 2, Codes gone and 70 whp added to the wheels...

Depends on what your state inspection is...
If its sniffer test you may be able to pass as long as your secondary cats are still in place.
If its OBD scan then the ONLY way you will pass inspection is with the DP fix.
Cobb wont work because it only surpresses the cat readiness state.

Get cobb or jb4 or procede, really do your research and get a tune if you want to take advantage of ur catless exhaust and really see what going catless + tune can do..As for the codes get a tune and bms dp fix v3 and u should be good to go. im in NYC as well and with bms dp fix u should have no problems passing inspections..

COBB would suppress cat codes, but your car should not go into into limp anyway
