Second cat delete and drone!!

Hello, i have a 335 e93 with Ar catless Dps and stock exhaust muffler.
I would like to remove secondary cats and put a free float resonator in their place. Some people talled me that with cat delete and stock muffler the car sounds terrible like a latern!
But if i replace the two stock muflers with free float, then the sound is very acceptible.
Any experience from people with ar catless dps, removed secondary cats and stock muffler???

I want to go catless as well, but still want a civilized ride. I just read up on some aftermarket resonators but am still waiting for a sound clip.

My only additional question is... If you gut the secondaries and remove the primary cats, and put in the resonators, will the resonators have significantly less resistance to flow than the secondary cats? I'm not sure what resonators look like on the inside and whether they cause a significant amount of resistance to exhaust flow...

you can get resonators what are straight through. I think the idea is to give the exhaust some more volume to flow through.

i really love the sound of catless dps with stock muffler, but i want the extra hp from the secondary cats delete. Do you believe that with straight resonators, in their place, i avoid the drone?

Interested in possibly removing the 2nd cats but I really dont want it too much louder then it is now.
I'm currently running cattless DPs and stock exhaust.

secondary cat delete will not increase sound if you put resonators in place. however you will notice the improved throttle response and you will boost faster. if anything, it makes it sound a little deeper down low.

Look into the thread about adding vibrant resonators for rasp.
You replace secondary cats with tose and youre set.

I have catless downpipes with a second cat delete (stock exhaust) no drone at all. Louder on cold starts but perfectly civilized.

Note I have an E90 though which has resonators. E92 does not. Not sure about E93

I have catless dp's and removed secondary cats and the resonator, I also have Billy boat mufflers, it is the worst sounding thing I've ever heard, it's at the shop getting stock mufflers put on now

I know that vibrant resonators with aftermarket exhaust solves the problem. Does this happen also with the stock muffler? If so which vibrant resonators should i get?
