High flow drop in filter vs DCI
Which one is better if im running a jb4 on 335is, high flow drop in filter with the stock air box or a (DCI, afe, injen,... etc) and im not talking about which one sounds or looks better. Im talking only about performance

I've had both, I prefer the DCI, but I haven't tried the drop-in/Mr.5 combo yet.
The main thing you'll notice is that the car will hit target boost quicker and more consistantly vs. a plain drop-in. This difference is noticeable in both seat of the pants and in logs.

Taking the intake and exhaust completely off is best. Eliminate restriction once and for all...
