HELP - Loss of power in 335d - fault code 41A4

I am experiencing a big loss of power over 30mph, the car is now outrun by a Ford Fiesta - its embarrasing! - I took it to an indpendant, who has the fault diagnosis machine -came up with a 41A4 code - open circuit - no idea what it is and after he has had my car 3 times, neither does he. he has changed a few hoses and now says I will need 2 new turbos £2000 +VAT just for parts - god know what BMW will charge!! I am not convinced he really knows the issue tbh.

HELP!!! - any ideas / specialists who won't rip me off but know their stuff on
E90's?

Thx

Gary

Gary it could be any number of things, a bad 2nd turbo, loose or damaged vacuum hose etc. I would recommend taking it to BMW and have them diagnose and provide an estimate for repairs. If you don't like the cost take it to another indy shop for an estimate. Good luck and let us know what it turns out to be.
