Stage 1 map will serve you well. Both Map1 and Map2 are set up to be equal to each other by default.

Too aggressive of a map will begin to pull timing. Just stick with what's proper for your mods and also do some data logging to verify. (Stage 1, Map 1)

As mentioned above they are actually the same (unless modified from their default settings). But just use map 1 stage 1.

Run map 1.

Go to a dyno and get a baseline (map 0) if you want to see your true gains.

Your profile indicates you have DPs also, if that's the case you can change the stage 1 map 2. You need to make the changes in the tuning interface to map 2 for it to differ from map 1 like Shiv indicated. Read the manual in the sticky section. If you have any questions and you're running the latest bata maps, then call Vishnu for technical support and they will help answer your questions. Run some logs and if everything looks good you can try stage 2, but don't get carried away. Your car will tell you if you go too far. Make sure you do a few good pulls to allow the car to adapt to the changes and always follow the README file for setting up the map stages. Good luck and have fun. You'll find a great group of people here and a few who are not house broken yet. LOL

Alright bro thanks. So I'm gonna install it today. Once I plug the actually procede in and close everything up. What do I do to choose map 1 on the car. And once I do that do I have to do anything on a computer or anything?

If you are in Roseville CA, shoot me a PM. I can assit with the install/setup/datalogging to make sure you are running properly and do my best to answer your modding/tuning questions.

Hold up or down on the cruise control stalk with the engine running to select different maps, shown by the tachometer needle pointing to 0, 1, 2, or 3 for a brief period after starting the engine or selecting a different map. Map 2 is for race gas. Map 3 is no boost / valet mode. Do not drive for long periods in Map 3 since it will throw off the long term adaptations on certain things.

Most importantly, read all the instructions before even starting! Once you get all of it situated, leave the covers off and turn the ignition on without starting the car. Run through the 12 or 13 steps to clear adaptations, reset the ECU, read, and clear codes. This is all explained in videos here:

http://vishnutuningforum.com/viewtop...99c736d537d552

Then start the engine and let it idle for 2 minutes. Ensure all the connections are OK, then shut it off and put the covers back on. Enjoy!
