225-45-17 to 245-40-17 ?
Hi everyone!
My current rubbers are worn out. I have the style 159 wheels (17-8) that call for the 225-45-17. I'd like to improve handling (and look cool as a secondary benefit) by fitting 245-40-17. Soooo 1. does 245 over 225 actually improves handling? 2. does 245 over 225 change MPG ? 3. will it rub, need spacers, other ? 4. same as above, but with upgraded shocks (thinking about Koni FSD, should drop about 1-1.5 inches) I do not plan on racetracking the car, but may drive it as if I stole it occasionally. Thanks folks |
