Tv And Nav 2 Go Issue

I just finished installing my TVANDNAV2GO interface with a 1/2 din dvd player and i have no sound...everything works perfectly except for the sound..i checked all connections..i tapped into the aux jack as per the DIY writeup here on the forum color-to-color but to no avail...i suspect either the dvd player is fucked up or a fuse is blown..does anybody know which fuse # is for the AUX jack underneath the armrest..any ideas?...

did you try just testing it out thru the aux plug before splicing into the rear console? i have the same setup as you. your wires might not be contacting properly in the splice in the rear console.

unfortunately not...i'm pretty sure the wires are contacting tightly..i already double checked them..i'll check it again...thanks...btw..how does the sound come thru when using the dvd player?..do you have to turn off the radio, switch it to aux or what?..

yes.. you need to switch it to aux to hear your dvd player or video ipod. even though the wires are touching, it might not be making solid contact. i know this because when i did the DIY the first time; it sounded fine before i taped it up and put everything away. once i had everythign cleaned up and i tried it again the sound seemed off. the volume was very faint and low. i re-adjusted it and it sounded fine. i wanted to make sure that the aux sound level was equal to the radio or cd sound level.
