Tire totally flat, could rim be bent sitting in garage
So I have to wait till early next week to get my replacement tires. In the mean time, my punctured rear tire is totally flat (reads no PSI) and air goes out with a loud hiss almost as soon as I inflate it with my compressor. So if the car sits like this for a few days with 1/4 of the weight on this rim and flat tire, will my VMR wheels be okay?
Also, I plan on borrowing a friends 330 spare or take both rear wheels off myself (decided to replace them as a pair) as alternatives to get them to the shop since right now I can't drive it there. However, the way the car is parked in my garage, I do not have enough room to jack the car up to remove the tire. Therefore, I will eventually have to move the car into a better position to work on it. Just worried that too could damage the rim. Guess I could put as much air in it as I can and slowly but efficiently back it out. Thoughts?

At least jack it up enough to take the pressure off of the rim.

I would but I'm left with dilemma number 2. Also, did BMW even supply me a jack. Will check that now. If not, guess I will have to borrow one from one of my domestic cars that still give you a jack...

No wheel should get damaged by letting it sit there. If you let a flat tire sit there to long you could damage your tire thought. You should also be able to back it out of your garage without issue however i would only back it out as far as you have to, to comfortably replace your wheels. make sure you don't turn at all to avoid rolling the tire off the bead, then you could damage your wheel.

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I had burst my tire as I was leaving for a trip to NYC, and then managed to drive back home on the tire (damn RFT). Left the car in my parking lot over the weekend and managed to take it drive it to the dealership - like a turtle.
So yeah, you should be good. Just back it up only as much as you need as others have said.
