19x9 et51 & 19x8.5 et46 on E90 328xi?
Hey folks I saw a sweet deal on some X3 style 191M on my local craigslist listing. I want to jump on it but not sure if we have sufficient room in our wheel well housing and tires for these?
Would bolt these on my 2007 328xi E90 Rear 19x9 et51 (42mm further in vs OEM based on offset calculator) Front 9x8.5 et46 (31mm further in vs OEM based on offset calculator) Also what tire combo do you recommend for the above wheels? Thanks a ton!! |

Yes, need spascers like said above, and new smaller tires.

cool thanks for the reply!! So what is the maximum inside clearnance we can get a way with front and rear? Based on the spacers suggest it seems...
For rear it is (42mm-25mm)=17MM inside clearance in rear For front it is (31mm-15mm)=16MM inside clearance in front Do the above numbers seem about right when compared to a stock 7" wide wheel setup with et34? |

i would get 20mm spacers front and rear. but i personally wouldnt even bother with any wheel that would require me to run 20mm spacers all around. it'd be better to just invest in a set of wheels that fit properly from the start.

Sorry to hijack the post here but I've got a similar predicament:
I happened to come across a guy selling some sick ass OEM E46 powder coated 19x9.5 squared setup (two sets of rear) off his M3 - 255/35/19. As far as I can see, the 19x9.5 ET are 27...my E90 is 34 and 37 - 205/55/16, F & R. Now, I see this type of question on here a lot, especially lately since I've been looking more. What sort of spacing will I need here for the front and rear on the E90? Is fender rolling necessary? This is what the wheel offset calculator read: Rear - 22mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 42mm Front - 25mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 39mm Is this ridiculous? Any help is appreciated! |
