When to install new TPMS?

If I am just replacing my tires (keeping same rims), does a tire shop need to install a complete new TPMS, or certain parts? If just certain parts, what kind? I've read on the forum some washers or stem?

Nothing if they are not damaged or too old. If you were swapping to a different set, recommend a rebuild kit. No need to do anything if you are only changing out the tires.
