Wakeflield

Chaps I posted this over on the 1er forum as they are more track happy than the seemingly softer e90 community.

But if anyone is interested I am going to wakefield for a SOTS day this thursday 23/8 and 20/9, feel free to come along and have some fun.

I've never done Wakeflield before how does it compare to EC and Wakefield?

I might wait for my big brake kit to arrive... brakes are still rooted from last time.

Use meth at the drags, don't think you need any more power on the track lol.

Not just my rotors that are fcked lol.

Though EC is much more of a touring track fit for our e90's I prefer Wakefield Park as it is much more technical...

Track was open today but slippery and cold. I watched for an hour or so and decided I wasn't good enough for the conditions and went home. Guess I'll have to wait another two weeks for the next sots day

Seems like you're waving the flag for us E90 pussies eh?

Honestly I wouldnt mind a wet trackday in the 335i as you learn a lot more about the chassis and throttle control, but I will admit I don't want to do a trackday on my aprilia in the wet and bin it.

Good thing about wet tracks is that u can lose control in the wet without feeling the pinch on tyre wear but good to learn how the car handles with it being slippery and with such high powered car !
