New to the area

Hello everyone!

Im new to the Mass area, and working in the Bedford VA hospital. Just checking out the local forum for any tips, places to avoid, how to not get in trouble, ect.....

Has anyone used the dealer up in Nashua?? Good reputation?? I want to have the 2008 M3 Sedan I bought two years ago updated to the new integration level - DME. Im on e89x-07-12-515.....so I know its out of date, and there are a few small quirks that I hope would also be fixed by it.

Thanks!

OP, welcome to the area.

It's been a few years since I have used Tulley BMW (Nashua, NH) but the facility is modern and, based on my past experiences, very capable. You may also want to look at Turner Motorsports (Amesbury, MA) for mods and/or general service.

In MA there are a fair amount of unmarked vehicles plus the LIDAR. Traveling in CT can be very difficult. Watch your speed there. Some really nice roads in VT and NH.

Will the M3 be used in the winter? If so, frost heaves and potholes can be bad around here.

Oh right! Vince Tulley up in Nashua. Friend of a friend. He's a real nice guy, but can't say anything about his dealership as I haven't been there before.

I got the M3 back yesterday after driving back here from Detroit. Hell of a drive for one person with only food and piss stops.

It is garaged in the winter months (Nov-Apr). I have a V1 hardwired in, so it does give me a little heads up, but I don't really speed compaired to the traffic that blows by me!

I have used Turner in the past, and would need a weekend day without the fiancee to make it out there....hopefully soon!

Car Data:
2008 E90 M3 - Jerza Black
UUC/Corsa exhaust
Matte Black CSL Rims
LUX Angel Eyes
H&R Springs + 15/12MM Spacers

I am more north than you and will only garage it 60 days a year, if that. I have an X5 for daily duty in bad weather.

I have yet to see a modified E92 M3 here in Maine. I have seen two stock ones over a 30 day period.

I am running full coliovers lowered about 2 inches front and rear. Vorsteiner front lip, gloss black Volk TE37s, matteblack custom color OEM exhaust. BMW performance upgrades too. A bunch of coding from EAS and LCI taillights, OEM spoiler, etc. Coded headlamps and upgraded 2012 LED halos. 30 % tint on all windows except 20% rear. Got rid of Carbon leather trim and switched to brushed aluminum Upgrade for me.

F&F, welcome to the area. Your M3 looks good. Try to plan some trips up north to take advantage of the roads and weather (before the white stuff arrives).

I am a former BMW owner, 335i vert w/ Dinan stuff. I am looking at buying a new M3 coupe or Audi S5/RS5. Both of benefits but my heart is pushing toward the M3. Perhaps I'll see you on road.
