Stereo keeps switching off iPod to radio!???

Hey guys, I just picked up my new 335xi with factory iPod integration. The interface is awesome - so much better than my old M3 with an aftermarket icelink system.

Big problem though - everytime I listen to the iPod about 3 minutes into a song the system switches to radio. I have an iPod Nano with updated software (the original version not the new Aluminum version)

I have tried this while driving, parked, car on, car off, with my iPod on hold, off hold, in its case, out of its case. I wanted to make sure it wasn't something hitting the iPod and stopping it or interfering with the cable.

I have tried it from a playlist, artist and every other option to make sure its not just reacting to the end of the playlist.

I have searched the forum with no luck on this.

Any suggestions? I only have one iPod but later today I will try it someone elses.

This is driving me nuts!!!

Two usefull threads http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71073 and http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45991

Seems to be a rather widespread problem (at least among forum participants) currently the solution appears to be replacing a MULF2 module.

Please refer to the 6FL FM switching poll thread. The problem is within the M-ULF-High.

Today at work I replaced an MULF2-High with a production date that was out of the bulletins dates. By production date they mean production date of the MULF not the vehicle. I replaced one on a car that was over 2 weeks out of the range. And yes it did fix the problem and works flawlessly now

That means ill be replying back to puma to tell them to update that bulletin as there are more affected MULF's than they think.

Hope that helps you guys out a little...
