Dealer Cost of a Cdn 323i

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know the dealer cost of the new E90 323i for Canada and it's options.
I hear that for some reason, in Alberta, dealers are not willing to come down from the MRSP unless you know what they actually paid for the vechicle.
Any help would be great team.
Thanks

Usually the markup is around 10%, freight/pdi not included.
A 2-3% discount is what most people can get. Maybe more if you have dealt with the dealer a lot in the past.

I know exactly what they pay in Calgary.

They pay $32000 for the 323i (MSRP is 35200). They pay 1365 for Sport Package, 2002 bucks for the Premium package. And I think they pay about 730 bucks for the Metallic Paint. Mark-up works out to something like 9.88% on car and individual options, and 9.80% on Package options.

If anyone has a carcostcanada account, please check all the models and post back... we haven't had an invoice pricing on Canadian vehicles since September. If nobody has one, maybe we can set up a collection to pay for it

I don't know why you guys would pay... the dealer I bought from showed me the invoice after I made my deal with him (I have known him a long time). Trust me, the stuff invoice costs I wrote above are what you will find when you pay carcost.

Thanks epiphone... I didn't even see your post ... good stuff

The Canadian dealers definitely don't discount the way US dealers do. I think they get less cars total up here, so its a tougher market. Fewer incentives as well.

I'd still like to see what the invoice is on the other models, but at least we have the 323 down now Thanks again!

Thank-you epiphone3

Thanks epiphone3 for the information.
I've been talking to Sebastien over at Calgary BMW and he seems very helpful.
I'll probably go in next month and get the 323i.
I agree in one of your other posts. The 323i is 5k cheaper than the 325 and with the premium pkg is a better deal. At least to me.
Thanks again

I drove the 323i and according to the seat of my pants, it has plenty of engine performance... lots of options makes it a great little car. Best part is that you still get the same world-class chassis from a 330i

I always go for at least 4-5% off msrp. If not I will just walk away.

I wouldn't expect that unless you got a pretty loaded 330i... not in Calgary, anyway. With such low profit margins for the dealers now days, it is pretty difficult to wrestle their money away from them... I wouldn't expect more than 2% off on a 323i.
