Had a little fun on the dyno tonight! W/PICS & VIDS!
So I went up to Sound Performance tonight with a buddy who needed to dyno and we had a very brief window before his slot to stick me in for 3 VERY quick pulls. Unfortunately the jb4 logger crashed on me at the end of pull one, i fiddled with it for a few but it was non responsive and wouldn't reopen so I had to unfortunately abandon it. Hopefully I can resurrect it and find at least one saved log tomorrow if so I'll add it to this thread. Over all VERY happy with the results, especially since I couldn't reset and relearn map 5 today before we went when I refilled with gas since it was pouring out
My car: 2009 335i M-Sport 6AT JB4 70/30 92/e85 mix in map 5 No other mods Made 384rwhp and 474rwtq I did 3 pulls and was very impressed with how consistent it was, all 3 pulls within 3 HP of each other! Then the real reason we were there! After feeling all high and mighty with my pretty solid numbers buddy dave has to take his turn and shrink my ego back down to size... 1994 Toyota Supra 6MT 72/75mm hybrid single turbo and a million other things 1029rwhp and 845rwtq @36psi Worth noting... He's out of fuel with the 1250cc injectors. 2150's going in soon. Should be able to peak just about at 1200RWHP then. Last edited by iDriveSlo; 10-19-2012 at 12:39 AM.. |

no pull on map 0? why even bother doing a dyno if you dont know how much is putting down on stock boost .
Good results anyway :-)

Thanks, I was very happy with what it put up. I know under normal circumstances I would definitely do pulls in map 4 as well, but since this was so quick I just took care of business and got out of there.
And yes, that supra is a MONSTER. Love that car, I smile every time i smash my pedal and feel like im fast. Then I get in that thing and it's just scary the difference. |

Gotta post this in the Chicago chat too. Many of us (for our sanity) don't dare come into the gen. Forum unless we're very VERY bored.

So I went to the track yesterday with a few friends.
Same set up for me JB4 60/40 93/e85 and nothing else. I ran 3 times. 1 time I wont bother posting about since I was playing with boost settings and 17psi in 1st gear doesnt hook even at the track lol The other 2 were quite successful. I am on stock bridgestone runflat tires at 38psi. Ran 12.712 and 12.720 60ft: 1.917 and 1.991 MPH 110 and 108
