Hello friends from SC.
I'm planning a road trip in a few weeks with my wife from Philly to Miami and planning to stay at Myrtle Beach for couple of days.
Can you please help me finding some beach where we can see more of young crowd and good nightlife as in bars & nightclubs. We are not big beach ppl, so a beach with more activities is not a big requirement. However, will prefer nice beach/ocean view :-).
I'm searching on net, and I find north myrtle beach matching my requirements.
But its always more helpful checking with local guys.

My last year's road trip from Philly to Miami I stayed at Myrtle beach for just one night, so I couldn't explore much.

Have you thought of going a bit further down the coast to Charleston instead? Beaches at Isle of Palms, and a better over all nightlife and lots of good food.

Most of the big clubs and bars are located at Broadway on the Beach which is located about 15-20 minutes from North Myrtle Beach. I think staying at myrtle beach would be closer location to that area.
