Tire Pressure?

What are people setting for tire pressure? Front and back?

I have the 20's and the manual says 36 if driving under 100mph. 40 if over.

I don't plan to go over 100mph that often but will at times.

Looking for the optimum level without over inflation.

Thoughts?

I run 280KPa which is 40 PSI.

My opinion is to use the highest permissible pressure.

I ran 36 psi / 250kpa cold for 5000km and this included 4 750km journeys of between 200 - 250km/h speeds. When I recently sent the car in for alignment and tyre rotation, I realised that the middle sections of the Michelin PSS were worn more than the sides. I believe that I may have overinflated the tyres. Hv reduced the pressure to 35 psi / 240kpa since. Next tyre check is in a weeks time, and we will see.....

That was exactly the same result I had. I can see the middle sections have a slightly higher wear than to either side. That's why I adjust it down to 35

Coincidence of facts
