What's the best unit to determine the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times?

Hey guys! What's the best unit out there that can determine my cars 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, instead of going to the track.

Or at least the most accurate in your opinion.

And I'm not looking to spend over $500 either.

Thanks!

I know that I can search, but figured this was the easiest way.

Google search Gtech pro SS. If used "correctly" its supposed to be a accurate within a thousandth or hundredth of a second. Not sure>.< Really though, I spent 200 dollars on gtech pro ss and there are a combination of a few little things that could completely eff up your readings. For example, you have to actualy press an OK button on mine while your flooring the gas in order for the device to stop measuring your 0-60mph/1/4mile time. I'd say the best way to get the most accurate/fair reading is and always will be to take it to the track.
All the measuring devices are a bit iffy imho.

Thanks! What's the difference from the SS model and the RR model? I noticed that the RR cost a little bit more.

Thanks again!

Pro RR has nice graphing software. You can see how consistant the device is by taking a look at the runs I made in my thread testing the JB Stg 1.

Also at the end of the 1/4 mile, the Red L.E.D. flashes on my unit. (I wish it beeped, because I am constantly trying to watch it towards the end of the run.)
