Doesn't Select mean there is a pay off at the end of the 5 year finance, otherwise you turn it in and walk?

What is the pay off amount if so?

I don't think you can turn it in and walk! You can either 'trade-in' the vehicle or sell it. You can't drop it off like a lease and walk away...

Well yeah, you turn it in and if the car is worth more than that final value you have positive equity, if you owe money you are upside down if you walk away.

You have to know the pay off figure.

I did this for my car. $465 a month for five years and the end payout is like $16k. See I am confident my car with 55k miles will be worth at least $16k

This doesn't make sense, what am I missing, it seems it's a long-term lease of which you are paying for a couple extra years at full price?

Google and read up on BMWs select finance program.

It is great for people like me.

You pay monthly for a 60 month finance, often less than leasing, no mileage restrictions. At the end, there is a balloon payment if you choose to buy out the car where you can finance the balance or turn it in and get a new car all over again.

It's like a blend of a lease and owning/finance.

My thinking is, when my car is 5 years old I can buy it out for like $15k. You can't buy a 5 year old BMW like this for that little money. In the mean time I have no mileage restriction and the payment is low.

Make sense?

OP, You are missing a lot of numbers to make people understand your offer.

How many months, what is the payoff, MSRP of the car etc.

I did the same with my 335 M Sport, paying only $350 a month for 60 months then a $20000 pay out at the end.

I'm sure alot cause his cause is more than ~40k....

So At the end if u choose to turn it in, you can no penalties or you have to pay the difference if you have negative equity?

You would have to pay the difference, but if you are going to get into another BMW and that difference is small, most dealers would want to make that go away to keep you in a new BMW.

Now, if it's $5k and you put 100k on your car in 5 years, well-that's not going to go as well.

With my payoff being $15k, I am not worried.

I traded in my 330ci for 7500+1050 for incentive and 2000 cash for about 10550 down got my car for 800 over invoice came out to around 42000 with ED.

That makes more sense. My $465 with $2000 down and $15k payoff was pretty hard to beat.
