Staggered vs Square Nitto's = Different Tread Gtee?
Got a flyer for a large Canadian tire shop - no, not a "Canadian Tire" shop... it's a shop.. which sells tires... in Canada. Ha. One of the brands they were advertising was Nitto. What caught my eye is they clearly posted (not hidden in the fine print) the treadwear guarantee for the Nitto's they were selling was "100,000 km for straight or 50,000 for staggered setups." Wha?!
Do staggered setups burn tires more quickly than square (they called it straight) setups? I have not heard this anywhere before, especially blatantly in print like that and it took me by surprise. Not buying them, just curious. |
