What is MACO and Training Service Fee ?

What is MACO (~$300) and a Training Service Fee (~$180) ??
Should i pay for it or should i walk out the deal ? since my car will be at dealer (Fremont BMW) about 3 week. What should i look for before i sign all the paper ?
Thank in advance.

Hell, I don't know either. That's why I just gave you the link. Try calling around to other dealers and ask them.

As far as I know "MACO" or "DAG" fee covers the dealer's local advertising fees. The amount of this fee is based on the region your dealer is located in and varies between regions.

Both the MACO and training service fees are legitimate fees. Forget about how much these fees cost and negotiate based on the exact $ amount over invoice you'd like to pay. Negotiate with the stance that they can add all the fees they like as long as you pay X amount over invoice ($1000 and under over invoice should be a good target).

Yup, those fees are legit. Even though I paid those fees, my total price over invoice, including what I believe are bogus fees, was still only $750 over invoice.

Other dealerships I went to said they do not charge those fees, but the asking price over invoice were double over what I paid. They also were throwing in floor mats. BUT just imagine how many floor mats I could of purchased with the $$ saved at the other dealership offering me $750 over invoice.
