Quick JB4 G4 Wategates question

Hi everyone...

I like the aggressiveness of my g4 JB4... And it does the job for me for the time being. I am not running meth yet and we don't get e85 here in the uk so no need to run g5 with potential to run more boost...JUST YET...

Issue is, my wategates are rattling... My turbos were changed sep 2012 and the rattling got a lot worse since the DPs went on in oct 2012.

I have been dealing with it, but I would like to reduce the rattle...

I was going to upgrade to the g5 to have the ability of adjusting the wastegates actuators.... BUT I RECENTLY HEARD THAT YOU CAN DO THIS ON THE G4!!!

Is this true? Can I adjust and potentially not need to upgrade to g5???

well as far as i know, with the integrated jb4, it won't take effect until the car reaches operating temp. if you use the g5 iso, it is always active.

anyway, to answer your question, you would be adjusting the wastegate position or lagfix. whatever it has been renamed to these days.

Thank you for your response.

So in short.. yes it does work.. But only once up to operating temp.

I didn't know the g5 allows the lag fix to work at all times.

Thank you!
I will give this a go tomorrow.
