Older style OEM TPMS for cars manufactured before 9/09 (I believe), they were on my 2007 335i. Check compatibility for your own car.

They do not come with center caps.

The background: I bought my 335i (now sold) in July of 2009. In December of 2009 I bought these Blizzaks from TireRack and put them on the OEM 189s. I used them that winter, and winters 2010, 2011 and 2012. In recent winters, I've only put them on from late December to mid-March, so only a couple months. The rears are getting pretty skinny and will probably last one more winter if only used lightly for a couple months like I used them. The fronts are in great shape and should last quite a while still. I didn't stick a penny in them because I think that's ridiculous, and I hate pennies. I don't have a tread depth gauge, but if you REALLY care I'll get one and take measurements. The tires have never had any bubbles or damage and have never been repaired.

The 189s themselves have some pretty minor rash (see pics below) and are in fair condition otherwise. I think the dealer had them repaired or touched up by their repair service before they delivered the car to me (which was CPO). I've never needed to have them repaired in any way. I tired to clean them up a bit but ran out of both my Adams and Griots cleaners, so I had to use dish soap. They'd come much cleaner (especially the inside of the barrels) with some actual wheel cleaner I think. When I had them on my car I had no leaks and no balance issues. I haven't had them checked meticulously for any bends or other damage because there simply hasn't been any reason to. They came off my 335 very early in March and I sold the car in April, so I need to get these out of my garage.
