Vibration When Driving

Whats up guys, about 3 weeks ago i hit a pothole and got a flat tire on the front driver. My tires are continental dw staggered 235/35 and 265/30.. I swapped the tire for a new conti got a wheel alignment.. Since the new tire and wheel alignment my steering wheel vibrates at higher speeds and it seems to still pull hard to the right. Any ideas what i should check? Is it a bad wheel alignment or could i have done damage to the suspension when i hit the pothole?

could either be suspension related or a bent wheel. I currently have a slightly bent wheel from a pothole. Still drives perfectly straight though but the wheel does shake at higher speeds.

it is most likely the wheel balance that is off. you dont get vibration from a bad alignment. an easy way to determine if the wheel balance is off is to see if the vibration is only at certain speeds.

Well i know that the wheel i hit the pothole with is definitely not bent because i had it inspected when they mounted and balanced it on the new tire however i did hit a pothole with my right front and didnt get a flat.. Guess im going to have to go get that one checked out too

It sounds like one wheel is slightly bent to me. It could be suspension related but I'm thinking that if the vibration is rotational it's safe to assume it's a wheel. Might not be the same one that the tire blew out on though.

so you feel no vibration at 50mph? if i were you i would go to a bmw dealer with a Hunter roadforce balancer and get the wheel re-balanced.

you can use that to see who has one
