Largest Vmr wheels/tire size

I'm looking to get a set of 19" wheels, most likely VMR 710's or VB3's. I'm trying to go as wide and concave as possible. I have an e93 335i sport, what do you guys recommend?

On an E93 we recommend 19x8.5 ET33 19x10 ET38. No rubbing issues with this set up
We've seen 19x9.5/10 stagger on the E93, but it's not typically recommended

Check out the V710 and V703 in similar fitment

Copy. What size tires would I be able to run? And do the 9.5/10.5 rub, or is it just too close for comfort?

On a 19x8.5/19x10 we recommend our customers to run 235/35/19 and 265/30/19.

Not entirely sure what issues you may run into with a 9.5/10 setup. Here's a link to one of our customers with 19x9.5/19x10 V703s. Apparently, he has had no issues with rubbing and has not done any fender modifications either. However, it's not something we would recommend. You're more than welcome to order aggressive specs such as him, but again, I can't guarantee that you will not hit any snags with a setup like that.

Ok, do I open myself up to larger options with spacers/fender rolling? I was shooting for 245 in front and 275 out back. I've seen guys post with as wide as 295 in the rear, does being a convertible make a difference?

You can't roll your front fenders, those are plastic. 9.5 et33 will work at front. I would use 235/35/19 tyre at front, because it safer option and won't require any modification. Maybe small 2-3mm spacer if you have coilovers, so it clears the inside. With stock shocks/lowering springs it won't need spacers.

Here is a one with 19x9.5 et35 or 33 with 245/35/19.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=679925

But it can be such small thing like tyre brand, whether 245 fits or not.

Here is few examples with 19x9.5 et33 235/35 front and 19x10 et 25 rear
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=602677

This has same front, but 19x10 et38+5mm spacer rear.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...28#post5840028

19x10 et25 at rear.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=531437

I would really recommend, that you choose VMR VB3 19x9.5 et33 with 235/35 to front and 19x10 et 25 rear with 265/30/19 to rear. Only thing you need is fender roll at rear. Especially if you decide to lower it. Or if you want more 275/30 rubber, then 19x10 et38 and maybe small spacer.

Fender work does open up a significant amount of room. It all depends how aggressive you want. 10's in the front really isn't that hard if you willing to trim (e92/93) your plastic fenders. 11 in the back is also a pretty easy fit if you trim your rears as well.

Not to this thread, however im looking for same style wheels (V710s) and I have an e90 LCI and was wondering what the max concavity and offset I could run without rubbing as well..?
There going to tell you what's safe for them and not at all aggressive. It all depends what your after and how aggressive you want to look and how much work willing to put in. Also how low you want to be what tires you want to run etc alot if factors

You tell me what would be your ideal width front and rear? And are you looking to have some poke with them or not at all ?

We recommend 19x8.5 ET35/19x9.5 ET45 on you car. You wouldn't need to do any sort of fender rolling or run stretched tires to fit them.

I Want my car to look like that first picture of that e93!
The drop ans fitment is so sexy!

I dont mind rolling fenders
Hard to really tell from the pics how flush they are. What I gather is you want a mild drop and flush looking fitment. In my eyes that e93 has a more flush rim in the front and could space the rears out some more to make it a little more even all around. I bet they are smaller of a rim though since its VMR specialty. What I would recommend is you Atleast go with a 9" rim front and 11" rear a nice beefy look as for offset I would stay somewhere around the 25-30 area for the front and the rear can be around 35 to give good look on E90 LCI.

You can see as an example for the rear my old set up had a 11.5" with a offset around 29-32 which gave me the poke I was looking for at the time. It was aggressive and looked good but you don't want poke so by getting the .5 smaller rear rim with a few millimeters less aggressive offset will put you where you want.

Here is a crapoy pic of my rear with the 11.5

Pm me if you have alot of questions as I don't need rogue up the thread

That looks like our 19x8.5 ET35/19x9.5 ET33 or 19x10 ET38 rear. I'm not sure if this customer added spacers though. A setup like that would definitely look good though!

Spacers are always needed and to be used on your "recommend" set ups.

Definitely not needed. Not everyone is looking to roll their fenders and/or stretch their tires.

Sorry to bring back a dead thread, but I'm about to order tires and I have a question. I have the VMR 710s in 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 and was about to order some Michelin Pilot Supersports. Could I go 235s in the front and 275s in the back with offsets of 40 and 35, respectively?

Thanks in advance,
alex

If you have our recommended offsets, I would stick with a 235/265 stagger. If you go up to a 275, you may need to roll the fenders.
