BMS Intake Install

How did I do? Does this look right? I followed the guide but just wanted to see if positioning and everything looks right.

Also the stock air scoop just goes back on connecting to nothing correct?

That looks like a good fit. I just installed mine. You push your intakes as far back as they will physically go, tighten them down with the clamps at both ends and reinstall your snorkel and you're done.

Prepare for "Whooosh" heaven You'll love the sound!

P.S - You could probably even sell your stock air-box if you don't think you'll need it anymore, on Craigslist for a few bucks and get some money back.

I'm gonna keep all the stock parts (I'm an OCD type of guy... I receipt everything and note it in a folder and keep all parts... better for sale of car)

Dude... I hear the whoosh and I'm debating an Active Autowerke BOV now but, I'm probably still gonna do it

Thanks!

Looks fine. If you want the BOV sound, unclip the stock DV's from the two intake nipples and cap it with a chair plug. $3.

No problem. I'm the same way actually, keep all my receipts in a binder with all my service records. OCD is such a PITA sometimes when it comes to cars though. lol Takes up too much time.

Is that really worth it to do that rather then the $550 BOV sound with Active Autowerke? I basically have finished the engine modifications I wanted...

7" VRSF FMIC
BMS DCI
Open Flash Tablet Tune

I want some nice wheels, a nice suspension and does anyone have any other recommendations on anything else to do?

you should try taking off your engine cowl. Stock DV are pretty loud. the engine cowl + stock intake deadens the sound. try it on a dry day. engine cowl is there to filter water or rain into the side gutters.

give its really good sound with dci!
