Ordering a ProTune

I'm almost full bolt on now minus a few things. I am really interested in a protune by PTF but I just had a few questions before I order it. I have catless downpipes, 7" fmic, dual cone intake, and a cobb ap as of right now. The VRSF FMIC came with an "upgraded chargepipe" because my car was a 2010 model. When selecting my mods for the tune, should I select chargepipe as one of the bolt on mods or just leave it blank? Help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

John

You don't have an aftermarket charge pipe so I would say no. It won't matter though, it's not going to influence the way they tune the car.

+1. The aftermarket CP is just supposed to handle higher levels of boost without cracking. Won't influence the tuning of the car (assuming it doesn't crack with the higher boost levels ofc..)

The lower charge pipe provided for 09+ models is more of a fitment/install deal, not necessarily a performance modification. Although it will outflow the factory lower chargepipe, the gains are very small due to the short path.

When PTF asks for the chargepipe, they're probably referring to the upper chargepipe which goes between the lower charge pipe & your throttle body.

It has a section in which you check off what you have. Chargepipe is one of the options.

if your AT I highly recommend placing the Kick Down Spacer between the gas pedal and the floor. You will be doing a lot of 3rd Gear pulls, well worth the 5 min.

Yes. Such a PITA to ruin a log or pull with that stupid kickdown switch. And it takes like 10 minutes of total effort to do.
