Need some advice on what to do with this $600
Hey everyone, have $600 burning a hole in my pocket.
07 335i, 62k miles DCI, OpenFlash Have VRSF DPs, ETS/Tial CP sitting in garage. Here are my options: VRSF shop install-$300 - would like to install myself and use the cash towards intercooler, but honestly not comfortable with it. Walnut blasting and OFH gasket replacement- $500 VRSF FMIC- $420 - I'd install myself I'd like to have all done. But what order would I go in? I mean, I already have the DPs soooo.

It summer, I would go with the intercooler and DIY install. I know it doesn't seem right since you have DP's already available, but those can wait IMO.

Personally I am doing the same exact thing.... Get your car up to fully maintained...
I just swapped my plugs and coils... I'm installing my VRSF FMIC Monday and having my car Walnut blasted the weekend after... I'm also swapping 1 injector that is faulty.... Do yourself the favor and walnut blast and do the FMIC. I'm hitting over 100 degrees here in NY and my cars oil temp is getting HOT!

I would pay to get the downpipes put into the car.. Carbon buildup was not to bad in my car when I had mine done at like 90,000 miles but each car is different. Maintenance is a big priority on these cars as well

I'm thinking I can get the DPs installed and the OFH gasket replaced for $350.
