Sirius satellite starts at promo station

I had a question about the satellite radio in my 2013 5 series that I hoped someone could help me out with.

Every time I start up in the morning my Sirius sets back to the promo station and I have to manually change to the station that I'd rather hear. I previously had a 2011 and 2009 3 series that I never even heard the promo station on.

I checked the manual and its pretty sparse with the Sirius info. Does anyone have any ideas how to set this up?

I had the same problem and couldn't figure out how to get a Sirius station to stay active (and yes, I'd already subscribed to Sirius by calling the 1-800 number). I programmed one Sirius station into one of the eight memory buttons. After selecting that station using the memory button, it remains on the next time I start up. Not a direct solution, but it works.

Thanks, I'll try and give it a go. That auto switch to the promo station is starting to drive me crazy on the drive to work.

I've only seen this after the sub expires and it's during the promo/free period.

Have Sirius delete and re-add your radio.

Maybe I'll give them a phone call on Monday.

Just an update. I had the signal resent from Sirius twice with no help. I ended up taking it to the dealer and it was a software issue. All is well now.

I am having this same issue. Just to confirm the easiest solution is to book a service appointment and have them update software?

Yeah, I had an appointment and they fixed the issue and hasn't been a problem since. Good luck!
