Timing and Boost output limited at higher intake temps?
I previously read that if running Cobb maps the car will not enter limp mode when oil temp hits 270 degrees. Nice to know by my oil temp has never got that high so I cannot confirm this.
So what about when the FMIC heatsoaks, does the Cobb map (or DME code) limited output for excessive intake temp conditions? Is there a table or scaling factor that is used or just predeturmined temp limits? When using the Cobb is it the Air TB or Charge Air that should be mindful of? Thanks. |
