Condensation in headlights!! HELP!!! PLS

Guys...PLS HELP ME THIS TIME... I've just picked my car for a week, and have 'updated' my headlight into HID, and also changed fog light bulbs, after a REALLY heavy rain, the right headlight cover become very foggy, even after 1 or 2 days, it still doesnt come off, my friend say it's because the HID burn the headlight unit...is that ture?? I already booked in for an service next week, I dont wanna them to find out this is the reason for that, and it will not be covered by warranty......hope you guyz can help me!!! Thanks

I'm not sure what to tell you because you changed the stock headlights to HID's. However, i have Xenon's and mine fog up a bit sometimes when it rains a lot. It is actually Normal for Xenon's to get water in them. My dealer told me that there is only a leak when : you have your headlights on and the car parked directly in sunlight, and if the condesnation does not go away after a few hours then there is a problem. Good luck though with your dealer

Can you not put the stock bulbs back and then take to dealer?

that's what I'm thinking.....feel so trouble to take it off and take on again...

hopefully it's just condensation and water in the lens, not bubbles in the plastic from melting from too much heat

you might want to double check your head light housing cover. ( the back cover ) to make sure they are put back into place properly and those seal around the cover should hold the moisture from going in. It happened to me before. I did changed my xenon bulb from 4200k to 6000k and foglight too. If your back cover is put back properly and tight, there shouldn't be any problem with moisture. try using your hand and move the back cover a little bit to see if you can hear any sound or not, or is the back cover able to move? if yes, you might want to open it and put it back on in place nicely. That should do the job. It happened to me before. And yes, sometime you drive it in the rain for a while, the moisture might enter due to heat and temperature changes.
